Executive Clinical Director

Claudia is the founder and Executive Clinical Director of Behavioral Concepts. She has earned a Master’s Degree in School Psychology with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from Alliant International University. Soon after, Claudia earned her Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis through Florida Institute of Technology. She found her passion working with children while volunteering at her children’s school. While she was in Grad School, Claudia worked at several schools to get “hands-on” experience working with children with Developmental Disabilities (i.e. Autism, Fragile X, Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive Disabilities, Down syndrome, Epilepsy). She fluently speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Claudia is a multicultural individual who has interests in different cultures. She has taken lessons to learn Farsi, and is currently taking French. In her spare time, Claudia enjoys spending time with her family and pets, listening to music, dancing, reading, cooking, sipping coffee and traveling.

Behavioral Concepts uses a collaborative consultation and teamwork model, where all members interact effectively and work cooperatively in a family-focused framework.
