Our program framework is based on positive behavior intervention strategies and minimally intrusive interventions and encourages parent, sibling, and caregiver involvement. Programs are individualized to meet the client’s needs and fit the family’s routines and lifestyle so that progress can be maintained. Behavioral Concepts provides services in the natural environments (e.g. home, park, grocery store, doctor’s office) to promote generalization of acquired skills.
Our assessments are designed to meet the individual needs of the families we work with. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts will create attainable goals to ensure your child has the best possible opportunity to succeed and encourage independence. We will review each individual goal with parents and caregivers to ensure your needs and expectations are being met. Parents and caregivers are welcome to provide input to their child's programs.
We educate parents and caregivers regarding the appropriate behaviors at home and in the community. Each program is designed to provide you with the skills to further increase your abilities to ensure your child is receiving the highest degree of care. Parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the treatment that is being provided to your child.
Our social skills groups are designed to increase socially significant behaviors, build an environment that feels natural, and create opportunities for appropriate interactions. Our social skills group leaders will provide support based on your child's individual needs and help facilitate play between our clients. We maintain a low ratio of group leaders to clients, allowing your child to receive the attention and care needed to thrive and succeed.
Our behavior technicians will be working with your child in their natural environment, whether that be in the home, community, school, etc.. Behavior technicians understand your child's programs to help create opportunities for your child to reach their goals. All of our behavior technicians undergo comprehensive training to ensure they are fully equipped to handle any task and deliver the highest standard of care.
Our program supervisors are expert professionals with a wealth of knowledge, dedicated to guiding your child's progress and empowering our behavior technicians. They meticulously review and refine treatment goals to ensure ongoing effectiveness, updating plans every six months to introduce new objectives, address barriers to progress, and optimize the programs for maximum impact.
